International seminar [coming soon]

The background, The three founding universities host (Mie University, Japan,  Chiang Mai University, Thailand and Jiangsu University, China), the Tri-University Seminar in turn. Partner universities with exchange agreement are also invited to take part. Although the number of participating universities has increased, the name still contains “Tri-University” to commemorate the three founding universities and their continued leading roles in the Tri-University Seminar.

Objectives, To give university students opportunities to develop mutual understanding and Friendship with overseas students  through real interaction
To give students opportunities to improve their ability to communicate with people from various countries, and to present and discuss papers in English
To help students cultivate international awareness, so that they will be able to tackle global issues and to solve problems in cooperation with people from diverse backgrounds
To give students practice in preparing for and giving concise, understandable presentations





Conference Fee, Founder universities intending to send more than 5 officials and 10 students will have to pay a conference fee of IDR 4,000,000 per person, which includes expenses after 21st Oct. arriving at Indonesia until their 26th Oct. departure from the same airport (domestic transportation, meals, parties, accommodation and conference registration fee).

Topics, The Joint Seminar provides students, researchers and professors with an open forum to discuss topics under the four regular topics and one host university's additional topic: Population, Food, Energy, Environment, and Ecology. (tri-u.ipb.ac.id)
